About

I'm an independent arts consultant based in York and working UK-wide.

I create, curate, and manage arts and cultural projects, working outside formal arts spaces.

I specialise in commissioning art in the public realm - from temporary and festival commissions, to design team working and permanent interventions in the fabric of a new place.

I'm passionate about the value of integrating the work of artists into public spaces, and the vital role that arts play in our everyday lives.  Artworks and commissioning programmes have a significant impact on distinctiveness and placemaking.  They play a vital role in humanising, enriching and making our surroundings legible, welcoming and accessible.
